Helen Rooney (Hu La Roux) is an international Hula hoop dance artist and teacher currently on a performing and teaching tour of Asia. Helen is a degree level trained dancer and began hula hooping in 2011when she was mesmerized watching other hoopers at festivals. It quickly became a passion and over the past 6 years Helen has been entertaining and captivating audiences with many hoops including LED and FIRE at weddings, festivals, cabaret, charity events, circus’, schools, beach parties and 5* resorts around the globe!
Helen is Performing at BaliSpirit Festival 2018 and offering beginners' level Hula hoop dance workshops. Teaching hoop tricks, body awareness/confidence and co ordination, hoop dance/choreography. All levels are welcome to come and get loose, get fit, play, learn and dance together. Helen hopes to inspire and spread light around the world, reminding people to be free, have fun, smile, believe in yourself and let go!
