Anam Cara - A Gathering of Soul Friends
 
One of my favorite poets and inspirational leaders is Irish born John O’ Donohue. His affinity for keeping Celtic Spirituality current in our world, shared themes with my personal spiritual practices and accelerated work with cultural equality.  The word “Anam Cara” is gaelic phrasing which translates to Soul Friend. Each of us are destined to experience harmonious relationships, cross-culturally, some harmonize and enlighten us, others challenge and stretch us past our normative thinking so that we can progress past old limitations of character. Our work in this day intensive is to embrace our inner intimacies through partner acrobatics, dynamic healing arts, threatre games, group mantra, and dynamic soul gazing exercises which will integrate the groups divine resonance for one special day of unification.Given the amazing promise of America, it’s time we receive the blessing of our Anam Cara,  the Irish believe once you have attracted your soul friend you have arrived at that most sacred place: Home.
