We will bring the qualities of rejuvenation and introspection into the Asana practice of this class. This rejuvenating practice is particularly helpful and healing in times of lower energy, injury, high stress, during menstruation, or simply for greater relaxation. This session has a therapeutic approach where we move through a steady (which builds gentle strength), slow Vinyasa sequence where we will we will take our time with each pose within the sequence and focus on the spiritual heart space. We will create some warmth to open the body slowly. Our emphasis will be on soothing the mind and nourishing the body. You will experience a deeply meditative practice, after which the mind will be clear and still and the body soft and open. The workshop will conclude with a guided mediation that will focus on the Lotus of the Heart, which leads us to be very receptive to the intelligent flow of Prana that is always there for us.

Ireland, A Steady Soulful Flow to the Lotus of the Heart
I have been involved with yoga since 1996, & since then spent many years living between India, Thailand, Bali & Ireland deepening my understanding     of the incredible depths of yoga, meditation & healing. Over the years I’ve studied various styles of yoga including Iyengar, Hatha, Ashtanga yoga & meditation. This varied experience has lead me to express my understanding of yoga in a dynamic & intuitive way & teach it as a transformational process that explores the individuality of each person. I like to offer Vinyasa Yoga classes that speak of alignment & emphasize a graceful flow of moving mediation while exploring consciousness. In 2001 I began continuous training with master healer/teacher Don Hanson and after 6 years of commitment     to the process was awarded a 1500 hr certificate as a certified Transforming Cellular Memory facilitator. I have also been deeply immersed in the international film industry. In 2012 I directed/produced the award winning feature documentary “Get The Picture” & have since made other short films, one with Yogi, Danny Paradise on human trafficking in Asia, an ongoing project. I am passionate about travelling, living in nature, natural home birth and yoga     during pregnancy. I am also a busy mama of a beautiful toddler.     For more information about Cathy, see...
